Amanda Rollins-Carisi is a fictional character on the NBC police procedural drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, portrayed by Kelli Giddish. Rollins was a detective with the Manhattan Special Victims Unit at the 16th Precinct of the New York City Police Department.
Kelli Marie Giddish (born April 13, 1980) [1] is an American television, stage, and film actress. She is best known for her portrayal of NYPD Detective Amanda Rollins in the NBC crime-drama television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011–2023).
Amanda Rollins is a former Adjunct Professor of Criminal Behavior at Fordham University and a retired detective formerly assigned to the Special Victims Unit after moving to New York City from Atlanta, Georgia.

Giddish continued to play Amada Rollins regularly from the 13th season of SVU to its 24th, and she became one of the longest-serving members of the cast.
