CSUDH has well over 25 physical collections on Japanese Americans including the Ninomiya Photo Studio Archives, with over 100,000 images.
The college was renamed California State College, Dominguez Hills, with the first classes held on the permanent site in October, 1968. The college was granted university status in 1977. This collection contains digitized photographs, slides, negatives, clippings, and architectural drawings representing the school's history from 1960 to the present.
