The Curonian (Courish) Spit (Lithuanian: Kuršių nerija; Russian: Ку́ршская коса́; German: Kurische Nehrung; Latvian: Kuršu kāpas) is a 98-kilometre (61 mi) long, thin, curved sand-dune spit that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea.

Feb 1, 2023 · There are multiple dunes to climb up along the Curonian Spit to get a great view of both the Curonian Lagoon and the Baltic Sea. These higher dunes are wonderful spots to watch sunrise and sunset. Some great dunes to climb include Parnidis, the Dead Dunes and Nagliai Nature Reserve (extra €5), Artist Dune , and Vecekrūgas Dune .
