All submissions must have the same title formatting: the word "Cursed," an underscore, and a clever, ideally one-word title. For example: "Cursed_Format." If you really need more than one word to describe the image, use an underscore rather than a space, i.e. "Cursed_extra_word."

It can be a person dressed in a creepy costume or animals appearing somewhere they shouldn’t be. Essentially, cursed pictures raise more questions than they answer.

Element 3: Genuineness. A cursed image should be a genuine, unedited photo that someone actually took with their camera. Or at the very least, it should appear to be a genuine unedited photo. This means that if a photo is edited, it should not be extraordinarily obvious that it is edited.
Dec 7, 2021 · Now check for the spirit of the image: if it inspires feelings of confusion, creepiness, or dread — much like the coulrophobia -inducing pic above — then indeed, the image is cursed. Some photos are just creepy, and that's apparently the point.
