Rumors have been circulating for years since the original movie, with the sequel seemingly appearing dead in the water.

But just because Dredd 2 isn't happening as a film, it doesn't mean fans won't get another opportunity to see Judge Dredd's story continue.
Feb 7, 2023 · There has been a surprising amount said by Karl Urban and others regarding Dredd 2, some of which raise hopes for a potential sequel. Karl Urban said he would play Judge Dredd again if given the opportunity, most recently reestablishing his interest in a sequel in August 2022.
