Ed Speleers (born as Edward John Speleers) is the actor who plays Jimmy Kent in Downton Abbey. He first appears in Series 3, Episode 3.04 . Ed is probably best known for playing the title role in Eragon, which also starred Alun Armstrong [1]. He starred in Wolf Hall alongside Kate Phillips, Sarah Crowden, and David Robb.
