Stockport has launched the next phase of consultation on plans for a phased expansion of Edgeley Park, which has a current capacity of 10,852 and has served as the club’s home since 1902.
Mar 13, 2024 · Stockport County have announced that the next phase of consultation on plans to expand Edgeley Park has begun. The expansion of the ground would take Edgeley Park from its current capacity of 10,852 to around 18,000.
The ground is set to be increased to a capacity of around 18,000 with the start of the project in 2025. Edgeley Park is currently an all-seater stadium holding 10,900 spectators. Stockport County shared it with Sale Sharks Rugby Union Club between 2003 and 2012.
