Museum Hours Tuesdays through Saturdays 10:00 am. to 4:00 pm. For tours outside of those hours, please call (276) 223-3484 to schedule. Closed on major holidays. There is no admission fee for individuals to visit the museum or tour the birthplace home; however, donations are greatly appreciated!

The Ohio History Center is the headquarters of the Ohio History Connection and a museum showcasing Ohio's history from the ice age to today. These exhibits feature a variety of topics including the Civil War, natural history, WWI, the 1950s and interactive children activities.

Tours of the unrestored historic Bolling Family Home, built in the 1840s, are available for $5/person. We are currently open for walk-in tours on Thursdays and Fridays, 10am-2pm. Other times available by appointment. Please call (276) 223-3484 to schedule a tour.
Location. The Ohio History Center is located at 800 E 17th Ave, Columbus, OH, 43211, at the intersection of I-71 & 17th Avenue (Exit 111). Operating Hours. Wednesday–Sunday • 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Ohio Village, our recreated 19th-century community, is included with Ohio History Center admission now through August 4, 2024.
