  4. Jul 28, 2023 · 10 months ago. Pathfinder. Our Verdict. Rage of Elements does an excellent job reestablishing the elemental planes with thoughtful worldbuilding and creative player options. Not everything will blow you away, but there's more than enough for a budding elementalist to play with. Pathfinder: Rage of Elements has to pack a lot into 200-odd pages.

  5. Spells that are worse than a 2gp Steel Shield really just don't excite me. I get it, not every character will have Shield Block or a Shield cantrip, but spending a spell slot and your first round of combat (notice the 1min duration) to rectify that seems terrible. I would maybe consider it if this was 1hr duration.

  6. The elemental bloodline was released in the core rule book in 2019, so it isn't really weird that the bloodline doesn't mention the list at all. The elemental list has a lot of overlap with primal as is, and has the issue of not being automatically expanded as new spells are introduced, or lacking some of the spells you'd want to cast.
