    • You can make life more meaningful. Many people dealing with suicidal thoughts believe life lacks meaning or see themselves as a burden. Perhaps you live with physical or mental health symptoms that affect your quality of life.
    • Stressful circumstances Everyone experiences stress from time to time, but many are unaware of how much it impacts quality of life. When you experience stress, your nervous system responds by sending a surge of adrenaline and cortisol through your body, also called the fight-or-flight response.
    • Relationship conflict Relationships with friends, family, and significant others can affect your quality of life and how you experience the world around us.
    • Lack of self-care Many people believe self-care is an indulgence rather than a need. Others get so busy with their relationships, careers, families, and hobbies that they simply don’t have time for consistent self-care.
    • Mental health struggles Many people grapple with mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Oftentimes these issues go untreated, and this can make it difficult for you to navigate life’s challenges and stressors.
