The pre-travel weight to where the trigger hits the wall and travel distance plays an important role in how you interface to the trigger as well.

Jul 21, 2020 · I just picked up my new Model 34 Gen 5 and found the trigger pull weight very disappointing. I measured it with my Lyman digital gauge and my RCBS gauge and it is running between 6.75 and 7.25 pounds. I was hoping for at least a 5 pound trigger pull or ideally 4.5.
