The Prediction candidate window offers typeahead candidates. IME toolbar

May 10, 2016 · Small Tsu. To get the small tsu, you don't have to type ltu or xtsu or any of those other combinations. Think about what っ means in Japanese. It's there to mark a geminate consonant. And you spell that in romaji with two of that consonant in a row. So type the Japanese word in romaji using a double consonant.

Windows 10 randomly switches keyboards. On my desktop pc I use a US keyboard with the settings US international (I'm German and need it for äöüß) and Google's Japanese IME. On my laptop I use a German keyboard with settings for German and also Google's Japanese IME. On both systems Windows 10 randomly switches to the other setting.
