Hard Time On Planet Earth (Series) "Jesse" is an alien from another planet, convicted of political crimes and sent to Earth which is to serve as his "prison." He is accompanied by a small floating robot, "Control," which is charged with guarding and supervising him as his parole officer.
An extraterrestrial from Jesse's world, sent to assassinate him, arrives on Earth and takes the form of a female human being (Sandahl Bergman). Meanwhile, Jesse is working at a diner. The owner is falling on hard times, but is unwilling to take advice from his daughter .
