1. Verbs In Filipino, verbs are conjugated using affixes, with a set of affixes corresponding to active verbs and a separate set corresponding to non-active verbs. Thus, for active verbs, we use the following affixes: -um or -um-mag- ma-maka. For non-active verbs, we use the following: -im or hin ma- (transitive) paki- i--an or -han pa- -in.
