Feb 29, 2024 · Admission to most park sites is free. Entrance to Independence Hall is by timed, ticketed tours. Tickets must be reserved through Recreation.gov. There is a $1 per ticket handling fee. Interagency passes do not apply to these fees.
While there are a limited number of tickets available every day from March to December (except Christmas when Independence Hall is closed), the good news is that tickets for Independence Hall are free (there is a $1.00 per ticket handling fee for reserved tickets).
Advance reservations are now required to tour Independence Hall. Reserve timed tickets online at Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. There is a $1 processing fee per ticket, and up to 9 tickets can be reserved on each account.
All tickets to tour Independence Hall must be reserved in advance online or over the phone through Recreation.gov. Tickets can be printed or shown on a mobile device at the time of entry. Ticket holders should arrive for security screening at 5th and Chestnut Sts. 30 minutes before their tour time.
Tickets are released in two batches: Advance and Day-Before. Advance tickets are currently available through August 2024. Day-Before tickets become available at 5pm the day before the scheduled tour. You must be logged onto your recreation.gov account before placing tickets into your cart.
