A convoy of Humvees (inadequately armored, no doubt) speeds through the desert carrying ultra-bazillionaire Death Merchant, and notoriously dissolute playboy, Tony Stark ( Robert Downey Jr.), scotch in hand, flirting with the female driver.

Jeff Bridges is Obadiah Stane, Stark’s assistant who yearns for the limelight – praising his boss while secretly plotting his destruction. He gives new meaning to what a backstabbing, bitter employee is. The scenes where Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man are exhilarating.

Now I would say that this movie has slow but steady momentum-building. It is a movie for people who has never known Iron Man in the comic series. The characters are given names and personalities, true to their comic book counterparts. Acting was among the best comic-turn movie I have seen so far.
