Dec 8, 2021 · There are so many negatives in this world without adding in the fact that you are trying to follow a dream. I began acting at the age of 15. I was a theatre major in High School and College. It was my intent to go onto Broadway but I fell in love and married at the age of 21.
James began his acting career at the age of 15 performing in HS and local theatre in the DFW area. He studied theatre at UT Arlington and upon leaving school he went into police work.

James Healy, Jr. (born December 30, 1961; age 62) is an American actor who portrayed Dr. Kinnard during Season 1 of 24.
James Healy, Jr. was born in San Antonio, Texas. He attended University of Texas, in Arlington, from 1980 to 1983.
During his early years, James acted in Theatre, commercials and films in Texas. During this time James became a police officer and worked for the Grand Prairie Police Dept. Rising through the ranks and working patrol, SWAT and as a detective he and his wife Claire, moved to Los Angeles in 1996.
Healy began his professional acting career in 1991, when he appeared in the straight-to-video film All-American Murder, with Christopher Walken. After that, he has appeared in films like Ruby (with Tobin Bell and Jeffrey Nordling), Disturbing the Peace, Shoot or Be Shot, and You Got Nothin'.
However, Healy has mostly focused in television work. He has appeared in shows like NewsRadio (with Stephen Root), Walker, Texas Ranger (with Marco Sanchez), Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (with Ron Rogge), JAG, The Division, The Invisible Man (with Spencer Garrett), and That's So Raven.
