The Jim Whelan Open Water Festival is an open water swimming event held in Atlantic City, New Jersey that is named after former Atlantic City Major Jim Whelan. It includes a a 400m and 2 km ocean swim and a renewal of the historic 22.5-mile (36.2 km) Atlantic City Around The Island Swim.
