Tỉnh Karafuto (樺太庁 (Hoa Thái thính), Karafuto-chō?), thường gọi là Nam Sakhalin, là một đơn vị hành chính của Đế quốc Nhật Bản trên phần lãnh thổ của đế quốc trên đảo Sakhalin từ năm 1905 đến năm 1945.

Between 1905 and 1945, the Japanese Empire administered the southern half of Sakhalin, using the name Karafuto (樺太). The area was designated a chō (廳), the same term given to Hokkaidō at the time. It is commonly referred to as Karafuto Prefecture in English.
In addition, in 1907 Japan formed Karafuto Prefecture to govern the island of Sakhalin. Karafuto was divided into four subprefectures: Toyohara (in present-day Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk), Maoka (in present-day Kholmsk), Esutoru (in present-day Uglegorsk) and Shikuka (in present-day Makarov).
