Kate Stephens is a 17-year-old 4th generation farmer. The Stephens’ family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since 1912 when Kate’s great grandfather emigrated from Denmark and homesteaded their land. Kate’s dad Mark had been teaching her about farming since she was two years old.
