Sep 1, 2013 · I watched Yellow Elephant (Blu-ray release 2013-8-2), a movie adaptation of a Japanese novel, due to a mistake. Not having read the novel, I wrongly thought that it would be a fantasy movie, since the protagonist in the movie is a woman who can communicate with animals and plants.
Original title: Kiroi Jou / Kiiroi zou (Yellow Elephant). Synopsis: Married couple Aiko Tsumari (Aoi Miyazaki) and Ayumu Muko (Osamu Mukai) live a happy and peaceful life. Aiko is bit naive, while Ayumu works as a not so popular novelist.
