Death. In May 2022, Alley was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, following a doctor’s visit for a sore back, and subsequently underwent chemotherapy treatments at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. On December 5, 2022, Alley died at her home in Clearwater, Florida, at the age of 71.
