  2. In 1960, the Christian Brothers opened La Salle High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. St. John Baptist de La Salle was a priest, educational reformer and founder of Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools; saint of the Roman Catholic church and patron saint of teachers.

  3. La Salle High School is a Catholic, all-male, archdiocesan high school in Cincinnati, Ohio. The school was opened September 6, 1960, and was named in honor of Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, a French priest, and educational reformer. The school was officially dedicated on May 14, 1961.
