Lennart Torstensson, Count of Ortala, Baron of Virestad (17 August 1603 – 7 April 1651), was a Swedish Field Marshal and military engineer.
One of the captured men was Lennart Torstensson, the Swedish artillery commander who was one of Gustavus’ most trusted generals. The Catholics imprisoned 29-year-old Torstensson in the Bavarian city of Ingolstadt on the Danube River.
