Oct 5, 2004 · All the Lonesome Dove movies are very good. They do not have the regular western movie backdrops. These are filmed showing the hardships endured by our forefathers in crossing the country to settle it. I strongly recommend the Lonesome Dove:Outlaw Years and the Lonesome Dove Collection including the Return to Lonesome Dove.
