Mac Parsons. Mac Parsons (born February 23, 1943; died November 15, 2011) was a Jefferson County Circuit Judge in the Bessemer Cut-Off Division and a state senator. Parsons grew up in Hueytown and is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and the Birmingham School of Law. In his twenties, he worked as a meatpacker for R. L. Zeigler Company.
