Before parking in one the recommended car parks below, the best place to park to drop off safely is the Reading Station Short Stay Car Park which is free for 20 minutes and is located opposite the hotel. When travelling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies.

Malmaison Reading does not have its own car park, the closest car park and the main one used for the hotel is NCP Garrard Street (RG1 1NR). The multi-storey car park which has 918 spaces, including 6 disabled bays, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is operated on a pay by foot basis on return to your car.
Three of us had three rooms here for two nights. The hotel is opposite Reading Station but has no car park. We parked at the long stay station car park for a whopping £25 per day. They do have a deal with a car park 15 minute walk away at £19 per day minus 20%.
