Sep 19, 2023 · The restaurant was opened by restaurateurs Lee Henry and Bill Sapp, who also brought Columbus yet another iconic restaurant, The Top Steakhouse. The Kahiki was initially designed by Bernard C. Altenbach. Altenbach had the idea of styling the restaurant like a Polynesian or New Guinea meetinghouse, and designed the interior rooms.
Sunday Brunch. Sundays (Only) - 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Spectacular menu featuring items like Eggs Benedict, Foster’s French Toast, Beef Brisket Hash and Bacon and Egg Pizza. Bloody Marys, Mimosas & Bellinis.
Overall the restaurant was impressive. Food quality and food choices were excellent. My one and only complaint was the waiter not clearing our used plates in a timely fashion and we had to retrieve our own utensils and napkins. Other than that, we will definitely be back. We traveled from Cleveland just to go to the restaurant, might I add
