Matthew William Goode (born 3 April 1978) is a British actor. [2] Goode made his screen debut in 2002 with ABC 's television film Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. His breakthrough role was in the romantic comedy Chasing Liberty (2004), for which he received a nomination at the Teen Choice Awards for Choice Breakout Movie Star – Male.
Directed by. Andy Cadiff. "Chasing Liberty" is surprisingly good in areas where it doesn't need to be good at all, and pretty awful in areas where it has to succeed. It centers on a couple of engaging performances in impossible roles, and involves a madcap romp through a Europe where 9/11 never happened and "Roman Holiday" was never made.
