The focus of this course is on medical and clinical terminology broadly relating to human anatomy and physiology and the basic body systems with added emphasis placed on those terms pertaining to diagnosis and pathophysiology. The bases of medical terms will be examined – such as prefixes, suffixes, roots, combined forms.
