Missile to the Moon is a 1958 independently made American black-and-white science fiction film drama, produced by Marc Frederic, directed by Richard E. Cunha, [1] that stars Richard Travis, Cathy Downs, and K. T. Stevens.
Former moon inhabitant Michael Whelan shanghais two escaped cons Tommy Cook & Gary Clarke to help him fly a rocket back to his home. As they are about to set off, they pick up a couple of stowaways in Richard Travis and his fianceé Cathy Downs and so all five make it to the lunar surface.
Escaped convicts Gary and Lon are caught hiding in a rocket by scientist Dirk Green, who forces them to pilot the ship to the moon. Dirk, who's secretly a moon being, wants to return to his home satellite. Dirk's partner Steve Dayton and his fiancée June stow away on the ship by accident.
