May 11, 2021 · Nakhlite meteorites share similar mineralogy, chemical compositions, and common crystallization and ejection ages (Fritz et al., 2005; Harvey & Hamilton, 2005; Treiman, 2005; Udry & Day, 2018), suggesting that these meteorites originated from a single series of lava flows and were ejected in a single impact event (Harvey & Hamilton, 2005).
