Sep 21, 2015 · Nazareth reached the pinnacle of their long career with their sixth studio album, Hair of the Dog.Produced by the group’s guitarist, Manny Charlton, the album at once contains some solid rock templates for the emerging heavy genres along with some strong examples of the group’s penchant for experimental rock, including a prime example of the group’s talent for re-interrupting compositions.
The band moved to London in 1970 and released their self titled debut album in 1971. After getting some attention in 1972 with their second album Exercises, Nazareth supported Deep Purple on tour and released the Roger Glover-produced Razamanaz, in early 1973. The collection spawned two UK Top Ten hits, "Broken Down Angel" and "Bad Bad Boy".

Razamanaz is the third studio album by the British hard rock band Nazareth, released in May 1973. It was the band's first LP record to break the charts and was produced by Roger Glover of Deep Purple, who the band was on tour with at the time. "Woke Up This Morning" was re-recorded for this album.
