Peter Howarth (born 3 May 1960) is an English musician, who is the lead singer of the English band The Hollies. He also has a career as solo artist and used to be a backing singer.
The Hollies are an English rock and pop band formed in 1962. One of the leading British groups of the 1960s and into the mid-1970s, they are known for their distinctive three-part vocal harmony style.

Peter has been the lead singer of 'The Hollies' since 2004 and is very proud to have recorded three new albums with the band: 'Staying Power', 'Then Now and Always' and 'We Got The Tunes!' Over the past 35 years, he has written, recorded, played and sung with many prestigious artists and musicians.
Peter became lead singer of the band Sahara whose debut album "Observation" was released in France on the Vogue Record Label. He then decided to make London his home and established himself as one of the Capital's session singers.
