- Demogorgon. You can’t have a good guy skin like Chief Hopper without their evil counterpart, and that’s what the Demogorgon skin represents. The big bad of Stranger Things appeared in Fortnite’s Item Shop for the same three-day stint in July 2019 as Chief Hopper to celebrate the crossover and then once in November 2023.
- Chief Hopper. Chief Hopper is one of the Stranger Things skins added to Fortnite in July 2019 to celebrate the release of the third season of Netflix’s supernatural series.
- Tracker. The Tracker skin was first added in Fortnite’s very first season, arriving in the Item Shop for 800 V-Bucks. It’s another fairly generic-looking skin based on one of the default skins you get if you don’t equip your own.
- Shaman. The Shaman skin is easily one of the coolest-looking of the rare Fortnite skins. This Epic-rarity skin was available in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks but has only ever been available on four separate days, beginning March 31, 2019.
- Aerial Assault Trooper. Epic Games. Season One’s Aerial Assault Trooper skin remains the rarest skin you’ll come across. Like the Renegade Raider, the Aerial Assault Trooper skin predates the introduction of the now-iconic Battle Pass, and it was only available to purchase in the Item Shop in Chapter 1 Season 1 for 1,200 V-Bucks after reaching Level 15.
- Renegade Raider. Epic Games. Renegade Raider is an OG fan favorite. The design might not be anything particularly special when compared to more modern skins, but Renegade Raider is well-loved among long-time Fortnite players.
- Galaxy. Epic Games. Galaxy was an incredibly rare Samsung Galaxy-exclusive skin. When Epic Games launched Fortnite for mobile, gamers with Samsung Galaxy devices were the first to be invited to test it out.
- World Warrior. First released back in 2019 during the first Fortnite World Cup, the extremely rare World Warrior skin has now been completely absent from the item store since July 2019.

- Galaxy. Released as a cross-promotion between Samsung and Epic Games, Galaxy is easily the rarest skin in Fortnite. To obtain it, you had to download Fortnite on the Galaxy App Store and play three matches on either the Galaxy Note 9 or the Galaxy Tablet S4.
- Honor Guard. Fortnite skins can be quite expensive these days, especially the ones for licensed characters, but the Honor Guard may take the crown for being the highest.
- Aerial Assault Trooper. Tied with Renegade Raider for the title of oldest skin on this list, Aerial Assault Trooper was one of the very first skins introduced into Fortnite.
