Color: brown to dark brown. Aroma: cooked agave, quite expressive baked overripe sweet red apples note with a touch of cinnamon, light wood note, it is very well rounded and sweet, maybe the agave is sweet but covered by other sweeter notes. The more time passes the more the wood note intensifies. Light black pepper.

Marbete is from 2019. Color: slightly dark yellow. Aroma: piloncillo, butterscotch, slightly acidic, sweet cooked agave, also some slight green vegetable notes, the agave sweetness is like the cooked agave piña still in the oven. Slight oxidized copper smell that goes away after 15 minutes. Very slightly astringent.

As u/jlk819 said, Regalo de Dios was rebranded 'Tequila Number Juan' for import to the US, the same way that Tequila Los Abuelos was rebranded Tequila Fortaleza for non-Mexican markets. I'm there now in Cozumel I'm glad I checked reddit before attempting to buy. I have gone thru a couple of bottles of this stuff.
