May 23, 2024 · The park is open 6 am through 9 pm daily, except by permit. There is a $20 charge per day for beach parking from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Fees are collected between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. All toll booths are cashless and accept credit, debit, and contactless payment only.

Mar 9, 2021 · North Beach is the most northern bathing beach on Sandy Hook. Lifeguards are on duty from 10 am to 6 pm from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Swim only when and where lifeguards are on duty. During the peak season restrooms and showers are available at this location.
Sandy Hook is within the Gateway National Recreation Area and draws some two-million visitors each year. In addition to its ocean beaches the park has a wide array of recreational and other outdoor activities.
Dec 28, 2021 · Beach C is accessed from the third parking lot you come to once entering the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area. This is a lifeguarded beach, with lifeguards on duty from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM.
Gunnison Beach is a beach within the Sandy Hook unit of the Fort Hancock and the Sandy Hook Proving Ground Historic District which is the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area, on the Atlantic coast of New Jersey.
