Here are the facts: Release Date: Early 1994 Disappearance Date: Early 2000's. Shazam was played on Disney Channel a lot. At first it was movie and then later became a short-lived series. It really hurt Sinbad's career. Movie Actors: Sinbad, Jonathan Brandis. Johnathan Brandis was in the movie, but not the series.
It is FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY. There is an actual tape with a label that says Shazaam. However, if you put the tape in a VCR and press play, you won't see Sinbad grant wishes (you'll probably see the movie Chairman of the Board or something). This is a novelty item.

Aug 9, 2017 · I have a photo of the VHS tape, but don't know how to put it on here, however, the College Humor site has a picture of the VHS and clips of the movie WITH Sinbad, it is an old beat up tape but very clear and it is the movie I remember. Its about two kids, Rachel and James and Shazaam (played by Sinbad) the Genie.
