Nov 28, 2023 · Completing the Starfield temple puzzle in the Into the Unknown quest is confusing at first as there's no real guidance, but these puzzle temples are a recurring mechanic throughout the game.
You’ll be given a mission called “Into the Unknown” by the Constellation, in which you need to head to a strange planet and make your way into a place called Temple Eta. However, it’ll not be that easy as you’ll need to solve a mysterious puzzle inside the Temple Eta.

To find Vladimir, you'll need to fly to The Eye. This can be found orbiting around Jemison, also in the Alpha Centauri system. Dock with The Eye when you're 500m from it.
As you step inside and walk north, you can find a First Aid Kit by the first corridor that goes off to the right.

Return to the center and take the corridor opposite (going west) or left if you're just stepping into The Eye. Follow this until you reach the first room Airlock B01. On the right, you can find another First Aid Kit and a row of lockers. Go back to the center once again, and make your way towards Vladimir in Scanning Control in the north. Before you go through here, take a look to the left and right to see Crew Quarters B01 and Facilities F01. Head left to the Crew Quarters where you can find lockers and some Storage Cases. Then go right to Facilities F01. Take the first door on the right, into Physical Training. Look to the left of the room, by the water cooler to find Peak Performance 01.

Continue northeast past Storage, and into the next section of The Eye. Go right, into the Cafeteria to find multiple ammo cartridges and a Pharmaceutical Kit on the wall on the right. Now go to Scanning Control and speak to Vladimir. He'll tell you that he's identified two locations where Artifacts are and also asks you to find Andreja -- another member of Constellation that's not made contact.
While speaking to Vladimir on The Eye, talk to him about his past and you'll be able to visit his house. This will be marked as an Activity in your mission menu. Vladimir's Villa can be found all the way over on the Moon of Syrma VII.
Go down to the basement and unlock the door (Advanced Level) to find a room full of weapons, including the Unique Weapon, The Mutineer on the desk. You can also find a collectible, Kryx's Journal Entry 03.
For this mission, where Vladimir will send you to search for Andreja will be different for each person. He will give you two locations to explore that Andreja might present, but the planets he'll send you to search will be random for each player and playthrough. However, places are repeated across planets, so you might visit the same factory or outpost on different planets. We've provided Walkthroughs for some of the repeated areas, but please note that locations of items may differ, particularly the locations of Skill Magazines. You won't always land in the same place when you visit these facilities and outposts, so the Walkthroughs below begin from the moment you reach your Objective Marker. Remember to use your scanner to show you a path if your Objective Markers are not working properly.
As you approach the Deserted UC Listening Post, make your way up the stairs to the left. At the top, there'll be a lone Spacer sitting there. By their chair, you'll find Ammo cartridges and Ammo Cases.
Storage Checklist
Exit this room then go left and take the door in the northwest into the canteen. Look to the far wall in the northwest to see a First Aid Kit. Now go left, to the western side of the room, behind the counter. Look underneath the Synergy sign. Here you’ll find another Text Log.

Go west to exit this room and enter the main room. You can find some Ammo Cases next to the chairs in the northwest of this room. There are also two red doors, one in the northwest (first on the right) and one in the west (second door on the right). Take the first one and you’ll enter a storage room with another blue door on the left. In the northern corner, you can find a Safe (Advanced Level), as well as Ammo Cases. Go through the blue door into the toilets and head for the next blue door in the southwest (on the right). When you open it, you'll see there’s a First Aid Kit and Pharmaceutical Kit on the wall on the right, there’s also a Storage Box on the floor and on top of the drawers, you’ll find a Cell Key.

Go through the door on the left and you’ll enter the sleeping area. Then do southeast to take the red door back into the main room. You’ll now have three routes you can take. There’s a door on the far left, a door directly across the room in the southwest, and stairs to the right. Go for the room in the southeast directly across first. On the right side of the desk, you can find Peak Performance 02.
