Nightsiren (Slovak: Svetlonoc, Czech: Světlonoc) is a 2022 Slovak-Czech psychological mysterious feminist movie by the director Tereza Nvotová. The film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, where it won the Golden Leopard – Filmmakers of the Present award.
Director: Filthy. Tereza Nvotová's (1988, Czechoslovakia) sophomore feature, Nightsiren (Svetlonoc, 2022), premiered in Locarno IFF - "Cineasti del presente", where it won the Golden Leopard for the Best Film. Following, in Sitges IFF the film won the Silver Melies for the Best European Production.
