The Experts is a comedy film starring John Travolta and Arye Gross as Americans who are drugged and taken to the Soviet Union to train spies. They fall in love with two trainees and help them escape, but end up in a town that is a mirror image of their hometown in Nebraska.
Near the eastern edge of the USSR is a village populated by Russians who speak and act American, where KGB trainees go to practice. The town is mired in the 50's, and the new KGB hotshot fears his agents will fail to learn real US culture.
