Dec 14, 2008 · Tacoma was the home of a spirited teen-dance scene in the late-1950s -- one which produced three major bands: the Wailers, Little Bill and the Bluenotes, and the Ventures, whose respective rock 'n' roll singles ("Tall Cool One," "I Love An Angel," and "Walk -- Don't Run") each became international hits.
