Season 1 of The Lion Guard is the first season of the show. It is set in the wet season of the Pride Lands.
The series opener, The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar premiered on Disney Channel on November 22nd, 2015. A preview episode was released on demand on December 14th, 2015, before the first episode was released a month later on January 15th, 2016.
