Feb 18, 2009 · If you frequented a bar in Greater Louisville...you've been to the Tiger. They may have leveled the building but they can't take away many of our memories at perhaps the wildest bar in town! I believe there was a three fight minimum on weekends. lol And some of the coolest local bands had their fill of the stage.
Feb 9, 2024 · The Toy Tiger was a shady bar/club on Bardstown Road just south of I-264 throughout the 80s and 90s. It hosted a lot of influential national acts as well as local acts. Well known for it's large neon sign out front, the logo/sign image can be found on 'vintage' shirts and stickers from several vendors. Long live the wet t-shirt contest.

Jan 11, 2018 · The Toy Tiger was a rock & roll and general entertainment club that operated from 1973 to 1999 at the corner of Bardstown Road and Goldsmith Lane in Louisville.
The openers were some band nobody had heard of at the time called Static-X and a little known band called System of a Down that had the most eccentric frontman I had seen live up until then. The had a dot-matrix printed banner hanging up behind them with their band name.
