Giratina is a Legendary Pokemon within Pokemon Go and is available to encounter via special 5-Star Raids. Giratina has two formes: its Altered Forme, where it stands on all six legs, and Origin Forme, where it hovers in the air.
With the arrival of Altered Forme Giratina, you will be able to encounter and capture a Shiny Giratina as normal over the course of the Raid Hour. The odds of encountering a Shiny variant of Giratina are around 1 in 20, which is far more generous that normal Shiny chances, but on par with other 5-Star Raids that feature Legendary Pokemon.
The Altered Forme Giratina Raid Hour will run on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022, from 6:00PM to 7:00PM local time. During this hour, the number of 5-Star Raids featuring Altered Forme Giratina will be increased.
