- Leonardo. Played by Adam Sandler. For the last seventy-four years, Leo has watched children come and go through fifth grade. When he overhears that he might be reaching the end of his lifespan, Leo fears that he has wasted his life and decides to run off to the Florida Everglades to spend his last days in the wild.
