There was a small shop for food and restrooms, with a boardwalk area to walk out to the beach. We didn't stay too long as the weather wasn't the best. The sand is much more coarse and dark than the sand in Siesta Key, and the drop off to the water was much more of a slope as well.

Oct 25, 2012 · Great boardwalk. This is a beautiful beach area. The boardwalk is long with lots of benches overlooking the beach. This is our favorite beach. Nice restrooms and plenty of parking. The beach is seldom crowded. This is the best beach for finding shark's teeth.
