Mar 16, 2017 · The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation announced today that Guggenheim trustee, clinical psychologist, artist, and philanthropist Wendy Fisher has been elected president of the board. She will succeed Jennifer Blei Stockman, who ended her twelve-year term on March 15.

(NEW YORK, NY—March 16, 2017)—The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation Board of Trustees announced that, effective March 15, Guggenheim trustee, clinical psychologist, artist, and philanthropist Wendy Fisher has been elected to succeed Jennifer Blei Stockman, who has decided to step down as president of the board after 12 years.
Fisher’s engagement with the art world extends more widely than just her own work; she travels and reads widely on the subject, and is also on the board of a number of art trusts, including: the Tate International Council; MoMA P.S.1; Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation; and the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
