What's Happening is good, clean fun and if you love your classic American sitcoms, you should give this one a watch. It's funny, well-written and scripted and the performances are very, very good. Recommended.

What's Happening!! was first seen in August of 1976 and was yet another urban situation comedy that came out in the 1970's and joined the ranks of Chico and the Man and Good Times. The series was loosely based on the 1975 movie Cooley High.
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This series takes me back to a time when I was kid (Gen X). The memories and laughs just came flooding back in. It’s amazing how this still holds up. The storylines of friendship and family are strong and hold weight while delivering laugh after laugh.
