Without the double feature and the fake trailers it doesn’t really hit home. Plus the home release is 30 minutes longer, making it really bloated compared to the theatrical cut. It’s a 90 minute movie but it functions as a segment in a larger film. Death Proof gets far too much attention as a stand-alone experience.
